I've been wanting to share this with you since we shot the pictures and I'm finally able to! I know The Hip Tee for a long time and when they emailed me I almost didn't believe it.
They wanted me to design a tour to spend a weekend in my island. I said yes without any doubt!
And so I did. My island is so beautiful and has a lot of things to enjoy, plus, the weather is always great. That's why my first stop was the beach. When I came back to Las Palmas after living in Madrid for five years I met some new friends who were amazing surfers. One of them owns a surf school, Mojo Surf, and that is the place where I started my little affair with surfing. I also discovered paddle surf, and the best thing is that you can both rent boards (paddle and surf ones) and receive some lessons if you start from 0 (just like me!).
Tomorrow is cocktail time in the city!

He estado esperando para compartir esto con vosotros desde que sacamos las fotos y por fin puedo hacerlo! Conozco la marca The Hip Tee desde hace montón de tiempo, me encanta ese rollo rockero que tienen sus camisetas. Cuando me escribieron no me lo podia creer, querían que hiciera un tour para pasar un fin de semana en Gran Canaria, dije que sí sin dudarlo ni un segundo!
Esta isla es súper bonita y tiene muchísimas cosas que disfrutar y además siempre hace buen tiempo. Así que mi primera parada fue sin dudarlo la playa! Cuando volví a Las Palmas después de cinco años viviendo en Madrid me hice amiga de unos surfistas increíbles. Uno de ellos tiene una escuela, Mojo Surf y ahí es donde yo empecé mi pequeño affair con el surfing. También descubrí el paddle surf, y lo bueno es que puedes alquilar tablas (de surf y de paddle) o recibir clases de surf si empiezas de cero (como yo!).
Mañana: tarde de cocktails en Vegueta!
