SHADES OF RED

Soy fan de los labios rojos desde hace mucho tiempo. Son perfectos, dan ese toque sexy que toda mujer necesita. Es súper curioso, cuando estoy triste o decaída me pinto los labios de rojo y me siento mucho mejor, como una mujer sexy y poderosa! Me empecé a obsesionar con el color rojo el día que me compré Ruby Woo, una barra mate de Mac que me tiene enamorada. Y hoy quería compartir aquí mi top 4:

1.- Ruby Woo de Mac. Es súper súper mate, pero parece seda en los labios. Es precioso, intenso y muy sexy! 

2.- The Red by Sephora. Es mi última incorporación, esta en el punto entre mate y brillante. Tiene un tono de rojo muy intenso que no tiene competidores. 

3.- Kate Moss by Rimmel London Nº 22. Lo que me gusta de esta barra es lo suave que es, además, el color es muy intenso, fresco y perfecto para la primavera! 

4.- Lola Nº 102. My amiga Rocío es una de esas chicas que esta siempre jugando con diferentes tonos de barras de labios. Trabaja en Lola, una empresa de cosméticos y me hizo llegar esta barra roja con un toque de rosa. Me encanta!

I’ve been a fan of red lips for a long time. They give all the feminity and sexyness that every woman needs. It’s so curious, whenever I’m sad I put on some red lipstick and I feel so much better. It’s like suddenly, I feel like a sexy, powerful woman. I got obssesed with red color the moment I met my beloved Ruby Woo, the perfect matte lipstick, and still one of my favorites. And today I wanted to share with you my top 4: 

1.- Ruby Woo by Mac. It’s super matte and it feels like silk. So beautiful, intense and sexy!

2.- The Red by Sephora. It’s somewhere in between matte and shiny. A very intense red that has no competitors. 

3.- Kate moss by Rimmel London Nº 22. What I like about it is the softness of the material, plus, the color is very intense, fresh and perfect for spring!

4.- Lola Nº 102. My friend Rocío is one of those girls who is always playing with different shades of lipstick. She works on Lola, a great cosmetics company, and gave me this red lipstick with some hints of pink. Love it!

PALE PALE PINK

The days pass by and I'm getting closer to my trip to Madrid. I want to prepare it properly, all the looks I'm going to wear and all the plans I want to do but I have to stay focus on university. The weekend will be all about preparing everything, but from monday to friday I'm busy with studies. I have to say I'm already tired of winter, I'm tired of this cold weather and of wearing black and grey. The other day I tried to fight against dark colors with a white&pink striped shirt and a denim jacket, although it was freezing! I hope you like this girly look! Happy wednesday!

Los días pasan y ya queda menos para mi viaje a Madrid. Aunque quiero prepararlo bien y pensar en todos los looks y planes que quiero hacer, tengo que estar centrada en la universidad. El fin de semana lo dedicaré a prepararlo todo bien, pero la semana "normal" toca centrarse en los estudios. Tengo que decirlo, estoy harta del invierno! Cansada ya del frio y de vestir con negro y gris. El otro día intente luchar contra los colores oscuros (aunque tengo jean negro) con esta camisa de rayas rosas y blanca y la chaqueta vaquera. Aunque me congelé! hahaha. Espero que os guste este look, feliz Miércoles!

SMILE

I'm on a new chapter of my life, a lot of changes are happening on my personal life. And I'm taking it step by step. I'm doing a lot of thinking, reading, exploring, in order to grow and learn. The other day I started to think about how we humans do things to get the world's approval. At the end I have come to the conclusion that everything has to be done to fulfill your soul, to feel great and to love yourself. Maybe that's the start point... First thing to do of my "Feel great with yourself" list: have more fun with my closet, with this blog and with you! This dress is a bargain, I got it on sales and I'm in love with it. The perfect burgundy easy but in style dress. The gold details finish the outfit. Thank you so much for being there, on the other side of the screen!  

Estoy en una etapa nueva, ahora mismo hay muchas cosas cambiando en mi vida personal. Y bueno, me lo estoy tomando pasito a pasito. Estoy pensando y leyendo mucho, para crecer y aprender. El otro día me puse a pensar sobre eso que hacemos los humanos de hacer cosas para conseguir el apoyo del mundo... Vamos, para agradar a los demás. Al final llegué a la conclusión de que todo lo que haga una persona (en este caso yo) tiene que ser para llenarse el alma, para sentirse bien con uno mismo y para quererse. Quizás ese sea el punto de partida. Y bueno, lo primero que cumplo cada mañana de mi lista "Cosas para sentirte mejor" es jugar con mi armario, con este blog y con ustedes! Este vestido es uno de esos chollos de rebajas, un vestido burgundy (color que nunca falla) "fácil", como siempre digo pero cool. Los detalles en dorado completan el look. Muchas gracias por estar siempre ahí, al otro lado de la pantalla! 

NIGHTLIFE

Sometimes is hard to wear day clothes at nightime. That's what happened to me last Saturday. I was going to a party with my friend Sarah and I wanted to wear something cool but comfy as well... Didn't know what to wear and next thing I know: my room is full of clothes and I end up with most simple and comfortable look ever: black skirt, tights, boots, and croptop (which gives the perfect touch). To spice up the look a little bit I put all the effort on my hair and make up, with big curls and pink lips.

A veces es complicado usar las prendas del día a día para eventos nocturnos. Y eso fue exactamente lo que me pasó el sábado pasado. Iba a una fiesta con mi amiga Sarah y me apetecía ponerme algo con rollo pero cómodo. No tenía ni idea de que ponerme y la siguiente escena es: mi cuarto lleno de ropa y al final acabé con el look más simple del mundo, pero comodísimo! Todo al negro, medias, falda, botas y croptop (que le da el punto guay al outfit). Para darle un toque especial puse toda la atención en el pelo y el maquillaje, con unas ondas y labios rosas. 

THE PERFECT SKATER SKIRT

Finding the perfect piece on sales is one of the hardest things in life, and when I do find something special I'm as happy as a kid! (I guess you know what I'm talking about, right? ha). This skirt is one of those cases. I'm into light colors lately, I already have too many black clothes on my wardrobe. So when I saw this green, beige & blue skater skirt I couldn't resist and brought it home with me.

Encontrar la pieza perfecta en rebajas es misión casi imposible, y cuando la encuentras es felicidad extrema! (Supongo que sabéis de lo que hablo, verdad? ha). Esta falda es una de esas prendas. Últimamente me decanto por colores claritos, ya tengo demasiadas cosas negras en el armario. Así que cuando la vi no me pude resistir y se vino conmigo a casa. 

WEEK END

Finally! My tests are all done! After a week studying now is time to take off my glasses, put on some red lipstick and enjoy the weekend! The plan for tonight? Efecto Pasillo (spanish band) concert! Have a great weekend, babes!

ALL BLACK EVERYTHING

I’m one of those romantic ones who thinks fashion is a way of expression, a way to show your soul, your mood and your feelings to the world. Well, I’ve been feeling a little “all black everything” lately, and there's no better way to express it than with pictures. Black jeans, tank top, leather jacket, bag… Today is one of my favorite days of the week, is the perfect day to put my ideas in order, to plan the week and to, of course, pamper myself. I’m willing to start this week with the right foot! Sorry for being MIA these last weeks, tests got all my attention but good news… I’m back for good! Happy Sunday!

Soy una de esas románticas que piensa que la moda es una forma de expresión. Una manera de mostrarle al mundo tu alma, tu estado de ánimo o tus sentimientos. Este look expresa a la perfección como me he estado sintiendo estas semanas, todo al negro! Vaqueros, tank top, chaqueta de cuero, todo negro. Hoy es mi día favorito de la semana, es el día perfecto para poner mis ideas en orden, planear la semana y por supuesto, mimarme. Perdón por estar TAN desaparecida estas últimas semanas, los exámenes se llevaron toda mi atención, pero buenas noticias, he vuelto para quedarme! Feliz domingo!

HELLO 2014!

First post of the year! It seems like the beginning of each year is the start of something new, different and better! The first outfit of the year is dedicated to my mum, because she's the one that made it possible. Literally, she sewed every part of this dress. We designed it together, chose the fabric and she did the magic. I'm so happy with the result and proud of the team we are! Hope you had a great NYE and a better beginning of this new year.

Primer post del año! Parece que cada año que empieza es el principio de algo nuevo, diferente y por supuesto, mejor que el anterior! El primer outfit del año se lo dedico a mi madre, porque ella es la que lo hizo posible. Vamos, que ha sido ella la que ha cosido el vestido enterito! Lo diseñamos juntas, elegimos la tela y ella hizo la magia. Estoy contentísima con el resultado y súper orgullosa del equipo que formamos! Qué os parece a vosotros?? Espero que hayáis tenido un gran fin de año y mejor comienzo del 2014!

XMAS SPECIAL: SEQUINS

Let’s continue the Christmas special with a great combination: black, sequins and red. I felt in love with this sequined crop top the moment I saw it on the hanger. It has the perfect balance between cool, soft and special. 

The festivities are all about parties, dinners and all those special celebrations with the beloved ones. And that means having fun when creating our looks. Mixing new and old trends is the key to create looks with our own perspective and style. I new what I wanted this outfit to be from the first second. Crop top with a skater skirt (I won't ever get tired of this kind of skirts), all mixed with super high booties. Here in the island we don't need tights and we can go bare leg almost all the year. But if you live in a colder place, you just have to add some black tights and voila!

The hair and make had to be as easy as the outfit to complete the whole look. That’s why the messy hair with red matte lips.

Seguimos con el especial navidad con mi combinación favorita: negro, lentejuelas y rojo. Me enamoré de este crop top en cuanto lo vi colgando de la percha. Tiene el equilibrio perfecto entre cool, con rollo y especial.

En estas fiestas solemos vestirnos mas especiales de lo normal para todas esas fiestas y cenas que tenemos. Y eso solo significa una cosa: pasarlo bien y combinar nuevas y viejas tendencias y crear look con nuestro propio estilo. Yo tenia claro como que fuera el look desde el momento 0. Lo combiné con una falda skater (no me canso de este tipo de faldas) y con unos botines altos y preciosos. Aquí podemos ir sin medias prácticamente todo el año pero si vives fuera y en tu ciudad hace frío no tienes mas que añadir unas medias y listo.

El maquillaje y pelo tenían que ir acorde con todo el look, por eso el pelo despeinado con raya en medio y el protagonismo en los labios rojos. Me voy a otro evento navideño! Qué planes tenéis para hoy? Pasadlo bien y sed felices!

XMAS SPECIAL: FEATHERS

Hello Monday! This year we wanted to do some special for Christmas and I put together different looks to give you some ideas so you can get inspired. I used new and old ítems to show that you don’t need to spend lots of money to look glamourous. Mix and match is the key girls! 

Today’s outfit is all about feathers, because who doesn’t like feathers at least once a year? They are fun and chic! This Amaya Arzuaga dress is the perfect combination of glamour and edgy, with the front zipper, the length, the color... 

My friend Mario gave it to me as a present and the years pass by and I’m still loving it like the first day. I really hope you like the iniciative we had this year and also that you get some ideas for your christmas events.

Buenos días lunes! Este año quería hacer algo especial para Navidad y crear algunos looks que os pudieran inspirar y dar ideas. He usado prendas antiguas y nuevas demostrando así que no hace falta gastarse mucho dinero para estar guapísima! "Mix and Match” es la clave chicas!

El look de hoy se centra en las plumas, porque a quien no le gustan las plumas al menos una vez al año? Este vestido de Amaya Arzuaga representa la combinación perfecta de glamour con un punto atrevido por la cremallera frontal, lo corto que es, el color..

Tiene mucha historia, me lo regaló mi amigo Mario y los años pasan y me gusta tanto como el primer día! Espero que os guste esta iniciativa y que os sirva de inspiración!

TIGHTS

The tights season has officially begun, even though today the sun is shining. Last week the temperatures went down (finally!) and I decided to use my brand new tights. When it comes to tights I like them special and funny, just like the ones I'm wearing. I decided to go for a wintery color palette and mix them with black and some sort of blood red. Hope you like it!

Queda inaugurada la temporada de medias, aunque hoy este haciendo un sol tremendo! La semana pasada las temperaturas bajaron (por fin!) y estrené mis medias nuevas. Cuando se trata de medias me gustan aquellas que son especiales y divertidas, como las que llevo puestas. Ese día decidí combinarlas con un look con colores muy invernales, negro y un rojo color sangre. 

A POP OF COLOR

Good morning ! Trends are important, but it doesn't mean that you have to throw away all your closet every season and replace it with new items. But no worries! That’s the fun thing about fashion, to mix and match items in order to create different looks. This one is the perfect example, black and white and a pop of color here and there with last season's pieces. A punk, strong and very wearable outfit to start the week!

Buenos días! Las tendencias son importantes, si, pero eso no quiere decir que tengamos que tirar nuestro armario y volverlo a llenar cada temporada. Pero no os preocupéis! Eso es lo divertido de la moda, mezclar y hacer combinaciones y crear así diferentes looks. Este es el ejemplo perfecto, blanco y negro con detalles en color con piezas de otras temporadas. Un outfit fuerte, un poco punk y muy ponible para empezar la semana!
