BACK TO LIFE

I'm starting to like Mondays, don't know why. I guess is that feeling of waking up to life after the weekend. Last one, by the way, has been very funny. Starting on friday with Efecto Pasillo concert, for what I chose what I call "Concert ouftit". Nothing better to rock a concert than a pair of skinny jeans, a lot of black and some pop of red. Very simple but chic. Have a good day! 

Me están empezando a gustar los lunes, no se porqué. Supongo que es por esa sensación de volver a la vida normal después del fin de semana. Este, por cierto, ha sido uno muy divertido. Empezando el viernes con el concierto de Efecto Pasillo, para el que elegí un look muy "concierto". Nada mejor para bailar, moverse y divertirse que unos pitillos, mucho negro y algún toque de rojo. Simple y chic. Tened un buen día!

KHAKI FEVER

As I told you two days ago, this month is already being crazy! I spend the day out, doing this and that (studiying and working), going here and there (well… from my house to the library, then shooting time and then back home..) so being comfortable for me these days is the most important thing. That’s when I put out an outfit together, it has to be easy, comdfy but stay “cool” (at least a Little bit). Today I’m wearing one of my favorite vintage jackets, bought in a vintage store in Le Marais, years ago. Mixing it with jeans, a beige jumper with some gold details and all star looked like the best idea. Have a great  day. I’m off to the library, (again!).

Como ya os dije hace dos días, este mes ya está siendo una locura y acaba de empezar! Me paso los días fuera de casa estudiando y trabajando en el blog, yendo de aquí para allá (bueno… de mi casa a la biblioteca más bien), así que estar cómoda es súper importante. Hoy llevo una de mis chaquetas favoritas, la compre en una tienda vintage en Le Marais, Paris. Combinarlo con jeans, un jersey con algunos toques de dorado y All Star me pareció lo mejor. Tened un buen día, yo me voy a la biblioteca (otra vez).

HELLO 2014!

First post of the year! It seems like the beginning of each year is the start of something new, different and better! The first outfit of the year is dedicated to my mum, because she's the one that made it possible. Literally, she sewed every part of this dress. We designed it together, chose the fabric and she did the magic. I'm so happy with the result and proud of the team we are! Hope you had a great NYE and a better beginning of this new year.

Primer post del año! Parece que cada año que empieza es el principio de algo nuevo, diferente y por supuesto, mejor que el anterior! El primer outfit del año se lo dedico a mi madre, porque ella es la que lo hizo posible. Vamos, que ha sido ella la que ha cosido el vestido enterito! Lo diseñamos juntas, elegimos la tela y ella hizo la magia. Estoy contentísima con el resultado y súper orgullosa del equipo que formamos! Qué os parece a vosotros?? Espero que hayáis tenido un gran fin de año y mejor comienzo del 2014!

THE SUN

Chritmas in bare legs and no jacket? It is possible here in Gran Canaria. It's incredible but the sun is shining so bright! Chritsmas are usually represented with snow and cold. For me they used to be like that. When I was a child I used to travel with my family every year to a different place; Switzerland, France, Andorra are just few of them... But now we all have grow up and Christmas is all about staying in my island and spend time with my favorite ones who live around the globe and are back for the holidays. 

So, what can I do (fashion speaking)? Adapt winter trends to this wonderful weather. Lace and leather is today's combination. Hard and soft like always! Have a great day!

Navidades sin medias ni chaqueta? Es posible en Gran Canaria. Es increíble pero hace muchísimo sol, y aquí lo disfrutamos a tope! Las navidades normalmente significan frío y nieve. Para mi solían ser así también, cuando era pequeña viajaba cada navidad con mi familia a un sitio diferente; Andorra, Suiza, Francia... Ahora hemos crecido y vivimos cada uno en un sitio del mundo así que lo que toca es pasar las navidades en casa y disfrutar de mis personas favoritas. 

Pero hablemos de ropa, qué me pongo con este sol? Lo que hago es adaptar las tendencias de invierno a este tiempo. Encaje y cuero es la combinación de hoy. Hard and Soft, como siempre. Pasar un buen día!

THE CAPE

I dont know if you heard something about it but some days ago we had some kind of tornado. Well… maybe I'm making a big deal of it, but I promise we had such bad weather. It was so windy and rainy we were under alert and even university got suspended (the better excuse to spend a wednesday chilling out at home, yay!). The weather was awful for a couple of days and I had the perfect chance to reuse my old (and favorite and warmer) coat. I bought it when I was living in Madrid (oh, the good old days). What I loved about it at the moment it's the exact same thing I love about it now, which is the cape style. It remind me of a Red Riding Hood (Black Riding Hood in my case! ha!). Saturday mood at home, chilling, lighting up some candles and pampering myself, yes! Have a great day you too. 

No se si habeis escuchado algo, pero hace unos días tuvimos una especie de tornado. Bueno vale, estoy exagerando un poco, pero prometo que tuvimos un tiempo horrible. Estabamos en alerta y había muchísimo viento y lluvia, tanto, que hasta suspendieron las clases (la excusa perfecta para pasar un miercoles en casa disfrutando de la lluvia). El mal tiempo se quedó con nosotros un par de días y aproveché para sacar del armario mi abrigo favorito, y el más calentito tambien. Lo compré cuando vivía en Madrid (que tiempos aquellos!). Me encanta la forma de capa que tiene, como una versión más oscura de caperucita roja. Por fin sabado, toca relajarse en casita, encender unas velas y mimarse un poco. Tened un gran día!

PLAID

Another monday, another week! After a very relaxing weekend it's worktime again! Tartan is one of the trends this season and is also one of the prints I like the most. Combined with leather is even prettier. I chose accessories in black and silver, to give that rock chic vibe to the whole look. Do you like the combination?

Otro lunes, otra semana! Es hora de volver al trabajo después de un fin de semana muy tranquilo. Como sabéis, el tartán es una de las tendencias de la temporada y uno de mis estampados favoritos. Combinado con cuero es aún más bonito! Esta vez lo combiné con accesorios en negro y plateado, para darle ese aire rockero al look. Os gusta la combinación?

LITTLE WHITE DRESS

First day in my beloved Madrid, wearing the perfect cute LWD (Little White Dress) matched with powerfull accesories that make the look work. I love to mix hard and soft, is one of my top keys in order to be stylish but edgy as well. Thank you Mario for taking these pictures, I love you !

Primer día en mi querido Madrid con este LWD (Little White Dress) que decidí combinar con accesorios en negro y tachuelas. Me encanta mezclar cosas más clásicas con accesorios más brutos, es uno de mis trucos clave cuando quiero estar guapa pero con un toque rockero. Gracias Mario por las fotos, te quiero !

MAGICAL ISTANBUL

After two days in Cappadocia we arrived to Istanbul. We spent the day walking around the city. It’s so amazing because you can walk from the Gran Bazaar to the Blue Mosque in just five minutes. After the Blue Mosque we went to the Basilica Cistern, built in the VI century and the biggest one of all (there are about 60 in Istanbul). I borrowed this dress from my mum (she has great style!). It’s fresh and super comfortable. Have a great sunday!

Tras pasar dos días en la Capadocia llegamos a Estambul, y no pudimos hacer otra cosa que caminar y conocer la ciudad. Es súper curioso porque puedes caminar desde el Gran Bazar hasta la Mezquita Azul en cinco minutos: es increíble encontrarte todas estas maravillas tan cerca unas de otras! Después de la Mezquita Azul fuimos a la Cisterna Basílica, construida en el siglo VI y una de las más grandes (hay unas 60 en Estambul). Le cogí prestado este vestido a mi madre, que tiene un estilazo increíble. Es súper fresco, cómodo. Tened un buen domingo!

BEAUTIFUL BARCELONA

I've been in Barcelona so many times, that's why when I go I don't feel the need to visit turistic places like the Sagrada Familia or museums (which are amazing, btw). I just like to enjoy the city, getting lost in those little streets, discovering new restaurants, shops, etc. That's what we did in our day in Barcelona. To me it's a city full of great and not so great memories, but above all, experiences. It's a very special city that I totally recommend!

He estado en Barcelona muchísimas veces, por eso cuando voy no tengo la necesidad de hacer turismo, prefiero disfrutar la ciudad, caminando por sus calles pequeñitas, descubriendo nuevos restaurantes o tiendas. Eso es lo que hicimos en nuestro día en Barcelona. Para mí es una ciudad llena de buenos y no tan buenos recuerdos, pero por encima de todo, experiencias. Es una ciudad muy especial que recomiendo 100%!

BIKER

A biker leather jacket mixed with an ethnic printed mini skirt is always a good combo, and the thing starts to get better when you combine it with your new booties (did I say that I'm in love with them??). It's Saturday and I'm sitting in front of the computer working like crazy, but honestly, I love it. Have a great weekend you all! 

La mejor combinación del mundo es una biker de cuero con una mini muy mini, y si encima lo combinas con unas botitas nuevas mejor que mejor. Es Sábado y estoy sentada en frente del ordenador trabajando como una loca, pero sinceramente, me encanta. Tened un buen fin de semana!

COUNTRYSIDE

Some weeks ago I had an amazing weekend, two days full of relax. The perfect ocassion to wear my new red bag. Black, white & red has always been one of my favorite combinations ever!

Hace un par de semanas me fui de finde relajante a un pueblecito, dos días llenos de relax. La ocasión perfecta para ponerme mi bolso nuevo. Negro, blanco y rojo siempre ha sido una de mis combinaciones favoritas!

THE TRENDENCY ROOM

The Trendency Room is a fashion and lifestyle event where new designers can show their work. I love this type of events where creativity and passion are reunited. It was my first time talking in public and I think it didn't go so bad! The look is based on one of my favourite trends this spring/summer: crop top, mixed with this flowered skirt , I'm so in love with it!

The Trendency Room es un evento de moda creado donde nuevos diseñadores pueden mostrar su trabajo. Me encantan este tipo de iniciativas donde la creatividad, pasión y el coraje se reúnen. Era la primera vez que hablaba en público, y creo que no fue tan mal! El look se centra en una de mis tendencias favoritas esta temporada: croptop, combinado con esta falda de flores que me vuelve loca!

KEY PIECE

Monday, monday and back to blogging, studying and many ing's! The super hot weather is gone and I can't stop thinking about those summer days from last week. This look belongs to one of them, this dress is one of the key pieces from The New Icons collection by H&M, it's super comfy and fresh, and I love it!

Ya es lunes y yo estoy de vuelta al blog, a los estudios y a muchas actividades! La ola de calor ya ha pasado y no puedo parar de pensar en los días de verano de la semana pasada. Este look es de uno de ellos. El vestido es una de las piezas clave de la colección "The New Icons" de H&M, es súper cómodo, fresco y me encanta!

AT THE FAIR

Yesterday was one of those super relaxing days. The morning was all about chilling, some reading and surfing on the internet. The rest of the day was super fun, we went to the cinema and then found a fair. Yes to Sundays!

Ayer fue uno de esos días super relajantes. Me pasé la mañana entera descansando, leyendo un poco y buscando cosas por internet. El resto del día fue súper divertido, fuimos al cine y después nos encontramos con una feria. Vivan los domingos!

BARCELONA DIARY

Thank god it's saturday and I had the luxury to sleep all I wanted this morning. As you know I travelled to Barcelona on Thursday to attend The H&M New Icon Party. I took my flight at 7 in the morning and arrived to Barcelona at 11 a.m. First thing to do? Check-in at my hotel for the day, the Mercer Hotel Barcelona. What can I say? It's for sure one of the best hotels I've ever been to. It's full of details, starting with the light, continuing with the treat of the stuff (they are just great) and finishing with the postcards you can find in their rooms. Barcelona is very special to me, I've lived so many good and bad things in there, so finding this romantic postcards and being in the middle of Raval, with all those tiny streets made me love Barcelona again, and enjoying it to the fullest. 

The next thing I did? Met my friend Maty, she is from Gran Canaria too, but she is living in Barcelona. She made me the best tour ever, vegetarian restaurant, Macba and then some shopping in Plaza Cataluña. Then time to head back to the hotel, pack up everything and prepare myself to the big date with H&M. But it deserves another big post! Coming soon...

Menos mal que es sábado y tuve la suerte de poder dormir todo lo que quise esta mañana. Como ya sabéis viajé a Barcelona el jueves para asistir a la fiesta "The New Icons" de H&M. Cogí el vuelo a las 7 de la mañana y llegué a Barcelona a las 11. Lo primero que hice? Instalarme en el hotel Mercer Barcelona. Qué puedo decir? Es sin duda uno de los mejores hoteles en los que he estado. Está lleno de detalles, empezando por la luz, el trato del personal y terminando por las maravillosas postales que encontré en mi habitación. Barcelona es muy especial para mi, he vivido muchas cosas buenas y malas en ella, así que encontrar estas postales y alojarme en medio del Raval, con sus callejuelas, me hizo volver a enamorarme de esta ciudad y disfrutarla al máximo. 

Lo siguiente que hice? Quedar con mi amiga Maty, es de Gran Canaria como yo, pero vive en Barcelona. Me hizo el mejor tour del mundo, comimos en un vegetariano, después fuimos al Macba y por último nos fuimos de compras por Plaza Cataluña. 

Llegó el momento de volver al hotel, hacer la maleta y prepararme para la gran cita con H&M, pero se merece otro gran post! Proximamente...

WELCOME TO PARADISE

Here you have my first day at paradise. I spent two days at the Sheraton Salobre Hotel, and I have to say it's the best place you can find in my island if all you want to do is relax. The views are amazing, the sunsets are so beautiful and you can disconect from everything. I came back 3 days ago and I miss that place already, I just hope to be back soon! 

Aqui tenéis mi primer dia en el paraíso. Pasé dos días en el hotel Sheraton Salobre, y tengo que decir que es el mejor sitio de la isla si lo que quieres hacer es relajarte. Las vistas son increíbles, las puestas de sol son preciosas y puedes desconectar de todo. Volví hace tres días y ya lo echo de menos. Espero volver pronto!

VITAMIN C

This is my latest discover: I love colors. I used to dress black on black on black, and now I go shopping and all I want to buy are colorful pieces. That's what happened with this orange sweatshirt, I felt in love with the color and I decided to wear it for the first time in the comfiest way possible, with a pair of jeans and all star. 

Lo último que he descubierto es que me encantan los colores. Solía vestir siempre de negro pero ahora voy de compras y todo lo que quiero comprar son prendas de colores. Eso es lo que me pasó con esta sudadera naranja, me enamoré del color y decidí ponérmela por primera vez de la manera más cómoda posible, con jeans y all star. 

PARAISO

I know it, I've been missing couple of days but trust me, I've been busy as hell. All I had been doing is studying, taking care of new projects and working like crazy. Thank God is weekend in just two days and I promise to be back for good! I'm in love with today's pictures, I love the location, my new boyfriend jeans and how the wind blows into my hair.

Lo sé, he estado ausente unos días, pero es que he estado liadísima. Trabajo, estudios y programar nuevos proyectos han sido mi prioridad. Menos mal que es casi fin de semana y prometo que estoy de vuelta! Me encantan las fotos de hoy, la localización, mis nuevos boyfriend jeans y como el viento mueve mi pelo. 

WICKED QUEEN

Here you have the second part of my collaboration with Rabaneda. This look is the opposite of the first one (click here if you haven't seen it yet). I love wearing bright colors but everybody knows that I love black above every other color, so this time I wanted to do a "black on black" look. I wish you could feel the texture of the fabric, it's so rich and it has a lot of beauty that can't be noticed in pictures. What you do can see is the beautiful back of the dress, isn't it stunning? I wish you like the pictures !

Aquí tenéis la segunda entrega de mi colaboración con Rabaneda. Este look es lo opuesto al primero (haz click aquí si aún no lo has visto). Me gusta mucho vestir con colores claros y alegres, pero todo el mundo sabe que el negro es mi color por excelencia, así que esta vez decidí hacer un look "negro sobre negro". Me encantaría que pudieseis sentir la textura de la tela, es súper rica y tiene una belleza que no es capaz de apreciar en fotos. Pero lo que si podeis ver es la espalda del vestido, no es alucinante? Espero que os gusten las fotos! 

SNOW WHITE

You already know I went to Madrid in november, what you don't know is that I had the oportunity to wear and shoot two of RABANEDA's dresses. I wasn't allowed to publish them until now, that's why I have my old hairstyle in these pictures. This white coat/dress is one of my favourite pieces of the spring summer collection. It's well made, it fits amazing and I feel like a princess in it. I hope you like the pictures, working in a team with Dani is always rewarding. Happy thursday!

Ya sabéis que me fui a Madrid en noviembre, lo que no os he contado es que tuve la oportunidad de vestir y fotografiar dos vestidos de RABANEDA. No podía publicar las fotos hasta ahora, por eso tengo el californiano y el pelo más largo en estas fotos. Este abrigo/vestido es una de mis piezas favoritas de la colección primavera/verano. Está bien hecha, queda genial y me siento como una princesa vestida así. Espero que os gusten las fotos, trabajar en equipo con Dani es siempre gratificante. Feliz Martes!
