DARK

Por mucho que intento vestirme con más colorido y comprar prendas que no sean negras, no puedo evitarlo, me encanta ese color! Prometo que lo estoy intentando, con la llegada de la primavera y la nueva colección ya en las tiendas voy siempre buscando esa pieza bonita y colorida. La cosa es que al final siempre acabo con un montón de ropa de color negro. Qué hacer en esas situaciones? Si eres una de las mías, aquí van mis tres trucos. Primero, se crítica contigo misma; segundo, pensar dos veces antes de comprar (los impulsos son muy malos!) y tercero, focus en lo que necesitas. Y bueno, aunque no compro nada negro, ya tengo muchas piezas de este color en mi armario, así que habrá que usarlas, no? Este vestido es una de ellas, combinado con botas color camel y shopping bag a modo de bolso. Muy negro, rockero y oscuro, como a mi me gusta!

As much as I try to wear colorful clothes or buy pieces that are not black I can't help it, black is my favorite color. I promise I'm trying, with the spring coming and the new collection on stores, I'm always looking for that something special and colorful. The thing is I always end up with a lot of black pieces on my hands. What to do in those cases? Be critical with yourself, think twice before you shop and focus on what you really need. The thing is, although I don't buy black clothes anymore, I have a lot of them on my closet. This dress is one of those pieces, mixed this time with camel booties and a simple shopping bag. Very blackish, rocker and dark. That's the way I like it!

IN TARTAN WE TRUST

Buenos días! Ya estoy de vuelta en la isla, el tiempo aquí es increíble, hace un sol maravilloso, pero echo mucho de menos Madrid! Para mi primer día en la ciudad, un día de mucho mucho frío, por cierto, nada mejor que mi abrigo de pelo sintético y mi vestido de tartan. Este es el primero que diseñamos y la verdad es que estoy muy orgullosa de el, la tela, como queda... es perfecto! Ahora toca volver al trabajo, mañana más!

Hello people! I'm back to the sunny island, the weather here is just perfect, but gosh I miss Madrid already! A faux fur coat and my tartan dress were the perfect choice for a super cold day in Madrid. This dress is the first one we design and I'm super proud of it, the fabric, the fit... it's just perfect. I'm on a new chapter of my life, a lot of changes are happening on my personal life. And I'm taking it step by step. I'm doing a lot of thinking, reading, exploring, in order to grow and learn. The other day I started to think about how we humans do things to get the world's approval. At the end I have come to the conclusion that everything has to be done to fulfill your soul, to feel great and to love yourself. Maybe that's the start point... First thing to do of my "Feel great with yourself" list: have more fun with my closet, with this blog and with you! This dress is a bargain, I got it on sales and I'm in love with it. The perfect burgundy easy but in style dress. The gold details finish the outfit. Thank you so much for being there, on the other side of the screen!  

Estoy en una etapa nueva, ahora mismo hay muchas cosas cambiando en mi vida personal. Y bueno, me lo estoy tomando pasito a pasito. Estoy pensando y leyendo mucho, para crecer y aprender. El otro día me puse a pensar sobre eso que hacemos los humanos de hacer cosas para conseguir el apoyo del mundo... Vamos, para agradar a los demás. Al final llegué a la conclusión de que todo lo que haga una persona (en este caso yo) tiene que ser para llenarse el alma, para sentirse bien con uno mismo y para quererse. Quizás ese sea el punto de partida. Y bueno, lo primero que cumplo cada mañana de mi lista "Cosas para sentirte mejor" es jugar con mi armario, con este blog y con ustedes! Este vestido es uno de esos chollos de rebajas, un vestido burgundy (color que nunca falla) "fácil", como siempre digo pero cool. Los detalles en dorado completan el look. Muchas gracias por estar siempre ahí, al otro lado de la pantalla! 

BRIGHTER

I'm getting used to steal my mum's clothes, I have to say she has a lot of style and she has clothes that I like to wear from time to time. This dress is one of those pieces, I chose it for her and now I'm the one wearing it, my own way of course. Black and white is always better when it's mixed with some bright color, like the orange of the bag. How is your week going? My exams went really good! Huge kiss to you all!

Me estoy acostumbrando a robar la ropa del armario de mi madre! Tengo que decir que tiene mucho estilo y que tiene cosas que me gusta ponerme de vez en cuando. Este vestido es una de esas piezas, lo gracioso es que yo lo elegí para ella y ahora soy la que se lo pone, a mi manera, claro! Un look en blanco y negro con un toque de color (la mejor manera de llevarlo, desde mi punto de vista). Cómo va vuestra semana? Mis exámenes fueron muy bien! Un beso enorme, queridos lectores!

MAGICAL ISTANBUL

After two days in Cappadocia we arrived to Istanbul. We spent the day walking around the city. It’s so amazing because you can walk from the Gran Bazaar to the Blue Mosque in just five minutes. After the Blue Mosque we went to the Basilica Cistern, built in the VI century and the biggest one of all (there are about 60 in Istanbul). I borrowed this dress from my mum (she has great style!). It’s fresh and super comfortable. Have a great sunday!

Tras pasar dos días en la Capadocia llegamos a Estambul, y no pudimos hacer otra cosa que caminar y conocer la ciudad. Es súper curioso porque puedes caminar desde el Gran Bazar hasta la Mezquita Azul en cinco minutos: es increíble encontrarte todas estas maravillas tan cerca unas de otras! Después de la Mezquita Azul fuimos a la Cisterna Basílica, construida en el siglo VI y una de las más grandes (hay unas 60 en Estambul). Le cogí prestado este vestido a mi madre, que tiene un estilazo increíble. Es súper fresco, cómodo. Tened un buen domingo!

THE PERFECT HAT

These are the last pictures from Las Palmas wearing my favorite hat ever, from The New Icons collection by H&M. The hat is with no doubt the key piece of the look. I’m so happy, im officialy on Holidays! Yay! Today has been such a crazy day, we woke up at 5 am to take the first plane in the morning, we flew to Madrid and then took an AVE to Valencia, where I am at the moment. Estoy súper contenta, hoy ha sido un día de locos, me desperté a las 5 de la mañana para coger el primer vuelo a Madrid, de ahí un AVE a Valencia, que es donde estoy ahora mismo. PACKING

In this exact moment my house is a huge mess. I'm packing for my almost one month trip and this is very difficult, but I'm super excited! I can't wait to start the adventure! The best thing about summer are those summer nights where the only thing to do is having fun. For one of those nights I decided to wear this ZARA shirt, I love the design and how it moves. I'm going back to my suitcase (or must I say suitcases?). Have a great day!

Mi casa es un desastre ahora mismo, estoy haciendo la maleta para casi un mes de viaje y es bastaaante difícil, pero estoy encantada! Estoy deseando comenzar esta aventura! Lo mejor del verano son sus noches, en las que lo único que me preocupa es pasarlo bien. Para una de esas noches me puse esta camisa de ZARA, me encanta el movimiento que tiene. Vuelvo a mi maleta (o debería decir maletas?). Tened un buen día! 

BIKER

A biker leather jacket mixed with an ethnic printed mini skirt is always a good combo, and the thing starts to get better when you combine it with your new booties (did I say that I'm in love with them??). It's Saturday and I'm sitting in front of the computer working like crazy, but honestly, I love it. Have a great weekend you all! 

La mejor combinación del mundo es una biker de cuero con una mini muy mini, y si encima lo combinas con unas botitas nuevas mejor que mejor. Es Sábado y estoy sentada en frente del ordenador trabajando como una loca, pero sinceramente, me encanta. Tened un buen fin de semana!

COUNTRYSIDE

Some weeks ago I had an amazing weekend, two days full of relax. The perfect ocassion to wear my new red bag. Black, white & red has always been one of my favorite combinations ever!

Hace un par de semanas me fui de finde relajante a un pueblecito, dos días llenos de relax. La ocasión perfecta para ponerme mi bolso nuevo. Negro, blanco y rojo siempre ha sido una de mis combinaciones favoritas!

SUMMER DAYS

These kind of looks are my favourite ones. Being comfortable is so important in order to exploit the day to the fullest. And that's what I do everyday, going to the university, blogging and then back to the books. Another thing that I love? Wearing total black even when the sun is shining. The best part of this look is my new orange bag, for sure. We are super close to the weekend, yay!

Este tipo de looks son mis favoritos. Estar cómoda es súper importante para poder aprovechar el día al máximo. Y eso es lo que hago cada día, ir a la universidad, postear en el blog y vuelta a los libros. Otra cosa que me encanta? Ir vestida entera de negro, incluso cuando hace sol. Lo mejor del look sin duda es mi nuevo bolso naranja. Estamos muy cerquita del fin de semana, viva!

GOOD GIRL

I bought this dress and jacket in january and I've waiting to the hot weather since then. I love how the two pieces mix with the silver bag and ballerinas. The ocassion? A birthday on sunny saturday. Hope you like the outfit! 

Me compré este vestido y chaqueta en Enero y he estado esperando a que haga calor desde entonces. Me encanta como queda con las bailarinas y el bolso plateados. La ocasión? Un cumpleaños el sábado soleado que tuvimos en Las Palmas. Espero que os guste el outfit! 

MADRID DAY 2: LIGHT TEST

I spent my second day in this city at IFEMA, the place where Mercedes Benz Fashion Week takes place doing some light testing and fittings. For those kind of days the best clothes to wear are the comfy ones. When we were going back to the hotel the sunset was so amazing I had to take pictures of it. I have to admit it, I'm in love with Madrid sunsets!

Pasé mi segundo día en esta ciudad en IFEMA, el lugar donde se celebra Mercedes Benz Fashion Week haciendo pruebas de luz y fitting. Para ese tipo de días lo mejor es llevar ropa cómoda. Cuando volvíamos al hotel la puesta de sol era tan bonita que tuve que sacar fotos. Tengo que admitirlo, estoy enamorada de las puestas de sol en Madrid!

BRUNETTE

Hello readers, I'm writing from cold but sunny Madrid. It's the first of ten days and I'm super excited. I have a lot of super interesting things to do, starting today at 17.00. Today's pictures were taken at my beautiful island, at Las Canteras beach. You can see my new hair, I'm back to being a brunette. I'm still getting used to this change but I definitely love it. Hola queridos lectores, os escribo desde el frío pero soleado Madrid. Es el primero de diez días y estoy súper emocionada. Tengo un montón de cosas interesantes que hacer, empezando hoy a las 17.00. PINK NATION

Being away from the people I love is one of the hardest things of living on an island. My friend Sarah is living in Koln and I miss her so much! She came back for christmas and we spent some quality time together. In these pictures you can see an "intruder", Sarah's chihuahua, the adorable Lil Marie. 

Estar lejos de mis seres queridos es una de las cosas más difíciles de vivir en una isla. Mi amiga Sarah vive en Colonia y la echo muchísimo de menos! Volvió por Navidad y pasamos buenísimos ratos juntas. En estas fotos se puede ver un "intrusa", la chihuahua de Sarah, la adorable Lil Marie. 

JUNGLE

Last week my friend Sarah (you already know her, she was the one taking pictures of me at the beginning of this blog) came back from Köln, where she lives now. We got together at her home and for the ocassion I decided to wear something bright and full of colour, that's why I chose this pant. I wanted to give it a casual vibe so I wore it with black sneakers and leather jacket. 

La semana pasada mi amiga Sarah (ya la conoceis, ella era la que me sacaba las fotos al principio del blog) volvió de Colonia. Nos reunimos en su casa y para la ocasión decidi ponerme algo con color, por eso me puse estos pantalones. Me apetecía darle un aire casual y me lo puse con mis sneakers negras y la chupa de cuero. 

THE BEAT

Months ago I got involved in a very ambicious project which has finally started today after meetings and brain stormings. What is this project about? A fashion school for kids, where they will learn everything about the fashion industry, like styling, protography and of course, blogging, which I'm the teacher for. I'll explain them how a blog can help them to express their passion and how it can become a job. Lucky me the photographer is my adored German Aleman and he promised he would take pictures of me every single day, yay! First day, first look.This is a happy version of me wearing my new babies, chained heels and blue&white&black jacket. Hope you all had a good not-end of the world day!

Hace unos meses formé parte de un proyecto muy ambicioso que ha empezado hoy después de reuniones y brainstormings. De que trata este proyecto? Es una escuela de moda para niños, en la que aprenderán todo sobre el mundo de la moda, como estilismo, fotografía y por supuesto, blogging, para el que soy la "profesora". Les explicaré como un blog puede ayudarles a expresar su pasión y cómo puede convertirse en un trabajo real. Soy una chica con suerte y el fotógrafo es mi querido Germán Aleman y me prometió que me sacaría fotos cada dia! Primer dia, primer look. Una versión feliz de mi con mis nuevas adquisiciones, estos tacones con cadenas y esta chaqueta azul&blanca&negra. Espero que hayáis tenido un buen día del no-fin del mundo!

AIRPORT LOOK

After some days in Madrid I'm finally back! I spent four amazing days, meeting new people, spending time with those that I love and of course, shooting some looks. It's always amazing when I go back to that city. There are a some things that I'm not able to show you yet,  in the meantime, here you have my first "airport look" ever. Tomorrow's post is going to be so special, stay tuned!

Después de unos días en Madrid, por fin estoy de vuelta! He pasado cuatro días increíbles, conociendo a gente, compartiendo tiempo con las personas a las que mas quiero y por supuesto, sacando fotos. Es siempre genial cuando vuelvo a esa ciudad. Hay algunas cosas que aún no os puedo enseñar, mientras, os dejo mi primer look de aeropuerto. El post de mañana va a ser muy special, estad atentos!

COLORFUL

I started to fanzy this kind of jewelry months ago, but I've been having the same problem over again: they're so flashy I couldn't find a way to wear them. Finally I said to myself: "Keep it simple". So, I combined them with a blazer+jeans look. This way, the earrings are the key piece together with the bag. They key piece are the earrings matching with the bag. I'm just 2 days away to be off to Madrid and my home is a mess. Clothes and books everywhere; I have a final exam tomorrow and also have to pack. 

Me empezaron a gustar este tipo de joyas hace meses, pero siempre tenia el mismo problema, son tan llamativos que nunca sabia con que ponermelos. Al final pense que lo mejor era un look simple. Asi que me los puse con un basico jeans+blazer. Son la pieza clave del look junto con el bolso. Me quedan dos días para irme a Madrid y mi casa es un caos, tengo ropa y libros por todos lados. Tengo un final mañana y además hacer la maleta. 

GUILTY

Esta temporada los pantalones son mi pieza clave. Ya os enseñe uno de mis favoritos en un post y hoy quería presentaros mis nuevos pantalones. Cuando los vi pensé que serían perfectos para todas las celebraciones navideñas que se acercan, pero no pude esperar tanto tiempo para ponermelos. Culpable! Aquí tienen la prueba. 

This season pants and jeans are my key. I've already shown you one of my favourites, the leopard blue jeans on a previous post, and today I wanted to introduce you my new jacquard pants. From the moment I saw them hanging on the store i though: they would be perfect for the upcoming christmas celebrations, but couldn't wait that long to wear them... GUILTY! Here you have the proof. 

COSMIC LOVE

Mis domingos preferidos son esos en los que el relax se apodera de mi y lo único que hago es pasear, ir al cine o simplemente tomar un té. La semana pasada fue un caos, como ya os he contado alguna vez estoy preparándome los exámenes finales y me paso los días en la biblioteca! Pero me las arreglé para hacer un photoshoot con Germán Alemán y para editar un vídeo, es el primero y estoy muy contenta! Os lo enseñare todo estos días. En las fotos llevo el look más cómodo del mundo, con jeans, botas, camiseta y mi chaqueta nueva, la adoro!

My favourite sundays are those where all you do is go for a walk, going to the cinema or just having a cup of tea. Last week was crazy, I've been preparing for finals and  I've spent hours studying, but I managed to slip a phososhoot and also some video editing,my very first video which I'm very proud of. I'll post it someday soon!
