ROCK AND ROLL CHIC

Los viernes son el mejor día de la semana, los días de trabajo por fin se acaban y tenemos dos días para pasarlo bien! La mejor manera de empezar el fin de semana es bien vestida, y por bien vestida quiero decir ponernos lo que nos hacen sentir bien, cómoda y guapa. A mi lo que me hace sentir de esa manera es unos buenos jeans, una chaqueta de cuero, una camiseta de esas sueltas y fáciles y, por supuesto, un buen par de stilettos. Mi plan para hoy es completito: desfile de novias de Aurelia Gil, luego al cine con mi amiga Sarah y para acabar unos buenos cocktails. Yuju!

Fridays are the best day of the week so far! The working days are finally over and it's time to have fun! The best way to start the weekend is well dressed, and by well dressed I mean wearing what makes you feel powerful and cool. What makes me feel that way is: a good pair of jeans, a cool leather jacket and the right t-shirt, and of course, a pair of stilettos. My plan for today? A bridal fashion show by Aurelia Gil, then going to the movies with my friend Sarah and have some cocktails after that! Woohoo!

BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK

Me encantan las chaquetas tipo biker, son mis favoritas. Y como mi madre cada vez cose mejor hemos decidido crear nuestra propia biker. Llevamos buscando telas un tiempo y este es uno de los looks que lleve esta semana para una de esas búsquedas. Como me dijo un amigo hace poco "el negro es el nuevo negro". No hay un color que favorezca más a una mujer, por eso es el único protagonista de mi look. Ya viernes, feliz fin de semana!

I love a good biker jacket, it's my favorite type of jacket and since my mum sewing skills are getting better I thought about creating our very own biker. We have been looking for the right fabric for a long time and this is the look I wore for one of those fabric hunting this week. As a friend said to me once: “Black is the new black”. There is no other color that fits a woman than black, that’s why it's the main character in this look. Happy weekend you all!

XMAS SPECIAL: SEQUINS

Let’s continue the Christmas special with a great combination: black, sequins and red. I felt in love with this sequined crop top the moment I saw it on the hanger. It has the perfect balance between cool, soft and special. 

The festivities are all about parties, dinners and all those special celebrations with the beloved ones. And that means having fun when creating our looks. Mixing new and old trends is the key to create looks with our own perspective and style. I new what I wanted this outfit to be from the first second. Crop top with a skater skirt (I won't ever get tired of this kind of skirts), all mixed with super high booties. Here in the island we don't need tights and we can go bare leg almost all the year. But if you live in a colder place, you just have to add some black tights and voila!

The hair and make had to be as easy as the outfit to complete the whole look. That’s why the messy hair with red matte lips.

Seguimos con el especial navidad con mi combinación favorita: negro, lentejuelas y rojo. Me enamoré de este crop top en cuanto lo vi colgando de la percha. Tiene el equilibrio perfecto entre cool, con rollo y especial.

En estas fiestas solemos vestirnos mas especiales de lo normal para todas esas fiestas y cenas que tenemos. Y eso solo significa una cosa: pasarlo bien y combinar nuevas y viejas tendencias y crear look con nuestro propio estilo. Yo tenia claro como que fuera el look desde el momento 0. Lo combiné con una falda skater (no me canso de este tipo de faldas) y con unos botines altos y preciosos. Aquí podemos ir sin medias prácticamente todo el año pero si vives fuera y en tu ciudad hace frío no tienes mas que añadir unas medias y listo.

El maquillaje y pelo tenían que ir acorde con todo el look, por eso el pelo despeinado con raya en medio y el protagonismo en los labios rojos. Me voy a otro evento navideño! Qué planes tenéis para hoy? Pasadlo bien y sed felices!

CASTING UNIFORM

I had a casting yesterday and I thought about showing you my "casting uniform". By uniform I mean: jeans, white or black tank top and very (and for me always black) high heels. In a casting you want to be as natural and plain as possible, that's why simple but edgy looks are perfect.  Have a great day babes! 

Ayer tuve un casting y pensé en ensenaros mi "uniforme". Que es siempre jeans, camiseta blanca o negra y unos tacones muy (y yo siempre los llevo negros) altos. En un casting siempre tienes que estar lo más natural y simple posible, por eso este tipo de looks. Pasad un buen día!

HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY

Happy Black Friday! Nothing better to celebrate this day with an almost black look. A very easy outfit, soft in every single way: from the jeans, to the super soft t-shirt and the very messy hair. "Easy" is the key word for me, fashion has to be easy and effortless. Have a great weekend! I'm celebrating late thanksgiving tomorrow with some friends. Great weekend coming ahead, yay!

Feliz Black Friday! Nada mejor que celebrar este día con un casi total look en negro. Un outfit muy fácil, desde los vaqueros, pasando por la camiseta (que es súper suave) hasta el peinado (una trenza despeinada). Fácil es la palabra clave para mi en moda, los outfits tienen que parecer ligero, sin esfuerzo, natural. Pasad un buen fin de semana! Yo voy a celebrar thanksgiving (tarde, lo se) mañana con unos amigos. Se avecina un gran fin de semana, yay!

SOFT AND HARD

A new week has started, I can’t believe how fast time goes! This dress is one of those pieces I never get tired of. I don’t know if it's the lace or the leather details on the neck and sleeves, but I love it. I mixed it with black booties and bag, creating, once again, my favorite soft&hard combination.

Una nueva semana, no puedo creer lo rápido que pasa el tiempo! Este vestido es una de esas piezas de las que nunca me canso. No se si es el encaje o los detalles en cuero del cuello y mangas pero me tiene enamorada! Lo combiné con botas y bolso negro, creando, una vez más, mi combinación favorita: soft&hard. 

ROCKING MONDAY

Monday monday! How was the weekend? I spent mine working! This whole look represents my aesthetic: the leather jacket, the bleached jeans and my favorite sunglasses at the moment, the glitter Miu Miu beauties. Aren't they beautiful?

Feliz lunes, qué tal el fin de semana? Yo pase el mío trabajando! Este look me representa a la perfección: la chaqueta de cuero, los jeans desteñidos y mis gafas favoritas en este momento, la maravilla de purpurina de Miu Miu. No son preciosas? 

MADRID DAY 2: LIGHT TEST

I spent my second day in this city at IFEMA, the place where Mercedes Benz Fashion Week takes place doing some light testing and fittings. For those kind of days the best clothes to wear are the comfy ones. When we were going back to the hotel the sunset was so amazing I had to take pictures of it. I have to admit it, I'm in love with Madrid sunsets!

Pasé mi segundo día en esta ciudad en IFEMA, el lugar donde se celebra Mercedes Benz Fashion Week haciendo pruebas de luz y fitting. Para ese tipo de días lo mejor es llevar ropa cómoda. Cuando volvíamos al hotel la puesta de sol era tan bonita que tuve que sacar fotos. Tengo que admitirlo, estoy enamorada de las puestas de sol en Madrid!

SUNDAY FUNDAY

These pictures were taken the last Sunday and I found them today in my camera. I went to a little village here in the island and I created this outfit: military green, white shirt and comfy jeans. I've always loved the simple looks. I'm also wearing my new Prada sunglasses. Did I say before that sunglasses are my favourite accessory ever?? Happy Funday !

Estas fotos las sacamos el domingo pasado y las encontré hoy en la cámara. Fui a un pueblecito de la isla y decidí ponerme este look: verde militar, camisa blanca y jeans cómodos. Me encantan estos looks simples y cómodos. Este día estrené mis gafas nuevas de Prada. He dicho alguna vez que las gafas de sol son mi accesorio favorito? Feliz Funday!

MIRROR MIRROR

There's a funny story behind these sunglasses. A stranger gave them to me at Benicassim Music Festival (FIB). I left them in a box and I found them some days ago, 4 years later! Sunny days are the best and I decided to mix the biggest trends of this summer and winter, fluor and sneakers. 

Hay una historia graciosa tras estas gafas. Un desconocido me las dio en el festival de música de Benicassim (FIB). Las guarde en un cajon y hace unos días las encontre despues de 4 años. Los días de sol son lo mejor y decidí mezclar la mayor tendencia de este verano, el fluor y la de este invierno, sneakers. 

HAPPY NEW LOOK

First look of the year. 2012 was a great year, my studies go well; I entered to the fashionblog world and my personal life is better than ever. My goals for 2013? Make this blog bigger and bigger, grow up as a person and the most important thing, at least for me; be able to live great experiences and of course share them with you. I wanted to thank all of you for being there post after post. Happy new year!

JUNGLE

Last week my friend Sarah (you already know her, she was the one taking pictures of me at the beginning of this blog) came back from Köln, where she lives now. We got together at her home and for the ocassion I decided to wear something bright and full of colour, that's why I chose this pant. I wanted to give it a casual vibe so I wore it with black sneakers and leather jacket. 

La semana pasada mi amiga Sarah (ya la conoceis, ella era la que me sacaba las fotos al principio del blog) volvió de Colonia. Nos reunimos en su casa y para la ocasión decidi ponerme algo con color, por eso me puse estos pantalones. Me apetecía darle un aire casual y me lo puse con mis sneakers negras y la chupa de cuero. 

NIGHTLIGHT

Peroni's Calendar presentation was last week.I went to the event and managed to take some pictures of my look just before it started. The light was so beautiful we decided to shoot without flash. I guess you can't see the clothes perfectly, I'm wearing a dress by Cecilleforthekill. I am the luckiest person in the world and I have an awesome mother who loves to sew, so whenever I have a design in mind she makes the magic. I'm so proud! In this moment we are working on another one, which I hope to show it to you soon enough.Have a fabulous Monday you'all. I better go back to studying!

La semana pasada fue la presentación del calendario peroni. Fui al evento pero me las arreglé para sacar unas fotos antes. La luz era tan bonita que decidimos sacar las fotos sin flash. Supongo que no podéis ver bien las prendas, llevo un vestido hecho por mi. Soy la persona con más suerte del mundo y tengo una madre maravillosa a la que le encanta coser, así que cuando tengo un diseño en la cabeza ella lo hace real. Ahora mismo estamos haciendo otro, que espero poder enseñaros muy pronto. Tened un domingo maravilloso, yo vuelvo a estudiar! 

BRAIDED.

These pictures are the first ones I'm taking with my new baby, Canon EOS600D. I started this blog almost 4 years ago, but it was a year ago when I had an urgent need to express myself somehow. It was then when I remembered this blank space, made just for me. After months of being photographed by different photographers, I realized it was the time for me to be "a little more adult" and have my own camera. That means that I'll be able to post more frequently (at least i'll try to) with my everyday looks and you'll see my day-a-day. 

In the pictures im wearing a confy casual look, for me to spend hours studying calculus. The key piece of the outfit is with no doubt the jersey (which is actually a dress I'm wearing as a jersey). My friend Jael Levi (friend, photographer and also collaborator of my blog in so many ways...) brought it to me from a trip to NY, she knows me so well she new I would fall in love with the edgy of the braided arms. Such a powerful piece, isn't it? 

Estas son las primeras fotos que saco con my nuevo bebe, Canon EOS600D. Abrí este blog hace casi 4 años, pero fue hace uno cuando empece a tener la necesidad de expresarme de alguna manera, y entonces me acorde de este espacio en blanco hecho solo para mi. Después de meses siendo fotografiada por diferentes fotógrafos, pensé que era el momento adecuado para ser un poquito "mas adulta" y tener mi propia cámara. Eso significa que podré actualizar más a menudo, o al menos lo intentaré, con mis looks de cada día. 

En las fotos llevo un look cómodo para poder pasar horas estudiando. La pieza clave es este jersey (que en realidad es un vestido). My amiga Jael Levi (amiga, fotógrafa y colaboradora de este blog de muchas maneras) me lo regaló cuando volvió de uno de sus viajes a NY. Me conoce muy bien, y supo al momento que me encantaría el trenzado de los brazos. Es una maravilla, no?

Black all over.

El tiempo aquí sigue siendo de verano, 25 grados todos los días así que casi casi solo puedo usar ropa de verano que intento combinar con nuevas tendencias. Ya os he enseñado esta falda con peplum antes. Me encanta como combina el cuero con el algodón, favorece muchísimo. Intenté hacer un look casual y por eso la combine con este gorro y camiseta, negro de arriba a abajo, como siempre; me encanta ese color!

 The weather here is above 25 degrees, so hot we can only wear summer clothes so I try to mix them with new trends. I've shown you this skirt before, it's the peplum one, I'm so in love with how the leather is paired with the cotton, it fits so perfectly. I try to look effortlessly styled and thats why I combine the skirt with this hat and this tee; black all over as usual, you know I'm a big fan of that colour!

Time has taught me something: enjoy life. And I got surprised when I found out that the most exciting things in life are not in big things. Look Of The Day: Le Marais.

This monday is more difficult than ever after one week of Easter Holidays. I have a lot of pictures to process and I'm looking forward to do it. Meantime, here is this look I wore last week in a cold day. The inspiration was obviously military look, based on this jacket I bought in a vintage shop in Le Marais one of those times I have visited my well-known friend Jael Levi (if you want to see her work click here.). I can't tell how anxious I'm to spend some days in Paris with her again! Hope you all had a good week and a productive monday!

Este lunes es mas difícil que cualquier otro después de una semana entera de vacaciones! Tengo muchas fotos que procesar y muchas ganas de hacerlo. Mientras aquí esta este look que utilice la semana pasada, aprovechando un día que hacia frío. La inspiración es obviamente militar, basándome en esta chaqueta que compre en una tienda vintage en Le Marais una de las veces que he visitado a mi ya conocida por todos amiga Jael Levi (si quieres ver su trabajo pincha aquí. ). No puedo explicar las ganas que tengo de pasar unos dias en París con ella otra vez. Espero que hayáis tenido una buena semana y un lunes productivo!
